Muzzammil Raza is a third year undergraduate at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, completing a joint Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Master of Biomedical Engineering program. He is a 2019 recipient of the National Toppers Overseas Scholarship Scheme, awarded by the Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Board. He has worked on different design and engineering projects as part of his course, one of which was designing and manufacturing a fully functional bionic arm which could be used by amputees to complete day-to-day tasks. Muzzammil was also a non-travelling member of Fiji's robotics team which took part in the "FIRST Global Challenge" in Mexico in 2018. He is an enthusiastic Manchester United fan and plays competitive outdoor and indoor (FUTSAL) football in Sydney. Other hobbies of his include reading and watching movies.
